Meet The Founder
University Handymen is a local start-up that was founded right in Boulder by a Civil Engineering Student at CU Boulder. Kyle Jones is now a junior in college specializing in Construction Engineering within the Civil Engineering Major.
His love for building started at 8 years old, when his grandpa introduced him to fabrication by means of a backyard treehouse. Kyle fell in love with building and engineering from then on. Throughout high school, he became the go to handyman and mechanic for his dad and two brothers. Kyle moved to Boulder for college in August 2024 and is now embarking on a new journey. He dreamed of becoming a business owner for many years so what better way to do it then starting a handyman company where he can use his practical and project management skills that he has acquired through years of creating solutions to unique problems.
